Hi: I have a 3 year old female red golden Pheasant that I would like to place in a good home. It is currently in my chicken coop with my Bantams. I bought it as a week old +/-. It was in the brooder at the feed store mixed with 100 bantam chicks and I thought it was a chicken. Boy was I surprised after it feathered out!
Like I said, a good home. Not for eating and not for hunting.
I am in Washingtonville, NY in southern Orange County.

I found a great home for the hen. She was adopted by a women in New Jersey who has a male of the same age. They are sharing a nice enclosed run and from what I've been told are cooing to each other all the time and sleep on the same branch at night. I am very happy ;D. She no longer thinks she is a chicken!TEXT
